Pack's Clark underwent foot surgery in January
Briefly

Kenny Clark, the three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers, revealed that a foot injury, which necessitated surgery, originated from the field conditions at Arena Corinthians during the season-opening game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. Despite participating in all 17 regular-season games, Clark struggled with a toe injury sustained in that matchup. He particularly criticized the turf, describing it as unacceptable, stating, "There was like clay coming out of the ground." His comments reflect the broader concern regarding player safety on inadequate playing surfaces.
"It was really just the turf out there, like the turf pretty much, yeah," Clark stated, highlighting his frustration over the field conditions in Brazil.
"I ain't gonna answer that question. Yeah, I got all the Brazilians on me," Clark jokingly responded when asked if the conditions caused his injury.
"I've played in snow, I've played in rain, I ain't never played on a surface like that... There was like clay coming out of the ground."
Clark revealed he underwent surgery for a toe injury stemming from the season opener, which was exacerbated by bad field conditions.
