Bobby Jenks, a former MLB pitcher, is facing the last stages of his battle with stage 4 adenocarcinoma and has also lost his home in California wildfires. To address mounting medical expenses, Jenks and his wife are organizing an autograph signing event on March 25, where former teammates will also contribute to the fundraising efforts. This event is significant as it may be Jenks' last public appearance due to his condition. The White Sox organization continues to show support for Jenks during this difficult time.
Bobby and his wife have agreed to do an in-person signing, with the hope of raising money to cover medical expenses. It is with great sadness to admit that, in all likelihood, this will be Bobby's last signing.
According to a Past Pros listing, the signing will take place "in support" of Jenks and his family, "with all profits being donated to the Jenks family." Baseball cards cost $60; photo/balls cost $75; jerseys $100 and inscriptions cost $25.
