"Adeline Yoga has moved yet again. This marks the third time the yoga studio has moved on the same block, between Alcatraz Avenue and 63rd Street, since it was founded nearly two decades ago. But its owner, Heather Phillips, hopes this one is its forever home. We outgrew both of our previous spaces, said Phillips, and this was a really wonderful opportunity to be in a big, beautiful space with lots of amenities and skylights."
"Along with amazing lighting, the new studio has a kitchenette, which allows its staff of 20 to eat home-cooked meals, and will give the studio the opportunity to serve food at its many events, including weekend-long yoga immersions, retreats and teacher education workshops. Adeline Yoga, which Phillips calls one of the busiest and biggest Iyengar yoga studios in the country,"
Adeline Yoga relocated next door to a larger studio at 3310 Adeline St., marking its third move on the same block since its 2006 founding. The studio increased capacity from 25 to 45 and expanded its footprint to accommodate a larger student body. The new space features abundant natural light, skylights, and a kitchenette that supports a 20-person staff and enables food service at weekend immersions, retreats and teacher education workshops. The studio emphasizes Iyengar yoga and alignment. Owner Heather Phillips, a member of the original faculty who took ownership in 2012, intends for the new location to be permanent.
