Met Eireann issues Status Yellow rain warning for 13 counties this weekend
"The alert comes into effect for Tipperary, Waterford, and Wexford from midnight on Sunday until 3am on Monday. Counties Clare, Cork, Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Leitrim, Limerick, Mayo, Roscommon, and Sligo will come under the same warning at 6pm on Saturday until midnight on Monday. Likely impacts include river and surface water flooding, difficult travelling conditions and poor visibility. This morning started cold and bright, it will remain largely dry today apart from showers on the Atlantic coastlines."
"Saturday will have a dry and breezy start, with some bright spells expected in the south and east of the country. Rain and drizzle will spread over Ulster and Connacht through the morning, before gradually spreading south-eastwards across the rest of the country through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures on Saturday afternoon will range between 8 and 12 degrees."

Weather warnings affect numerous counties with alerts starting Saturday evening and continuing through early Monday. Heavy rain and persistent showers will spread from the northwest and Atlantic coasts eastwards, bringing river and surface-water flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions. Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford face a focused alert from midnight Sunday to 3am Monday, while several western and southern counties are warned from Saturday evening until Monday night. Temperatures will range about 1–5°C overnight, rising to 8–13°C by day, with fresh to strong south-westerly winds and blustery conditions.
