Colton Cunningham, known online as @beefeatsfirst, wore a Buddy the Elf costume originally bought for a 5K race and toured Boston in character. He created a viral video that reimagined Elf with Boston landmarks in place of New York City scenes. The video included scenes at Dunkin' where he praised the "World's Best Cup of Coffee," a hug with Wally the Green Monster at Fenway Park, a ride down the City Hall cop slide, and pints of Guinness topped with maple syrup. The skit prompted stunned reactions from bystanders and an embarrassed cameraman who ended the recording early.
