You Can Soon Sip Sonoma's Aperture Cellars Wine at 30,000 Feet on United Airlines

The vineyard has received international recognition, including being rated one of Wine Spectator's "Top 100" wines. Aperture is a relative newcomer on the Sonoma wine scene, having first opened in 2009. For its part, the town of Healdsburg was named Sonoma County's most wine-friendly town by Food & Wine, which specifically called out Aperture Cellars as a recommended vineyard to visit while there."

In United's Polaris cabin, the airline serves a variety of soft drinks, spirits, and beer. The carrier has a partnership with Coca-Cola, which includes Sprite, AHA Sparkling Water, and Minute Maid juices. The airline also serves illy-branded coffee and cold brew, and Twinings teas. United Airlines will begin serving Aperture Cellars wines on international Polaris business class flights starting Oct. 1. Aperture Cellars is based in Healdsburg, California, produces blends and single-origin wines, opened in 2009, and has earned international recognition including a Wine Spectator "Top 100" rating. Healdsburg was named Sonoma County's most wine-friendly town and Aperture is listed as a recommended vineyard. Airlines are expanding alcoholic and nonalcoholic onboard offerings to enhance passenger experience. United Polaris currently offers Coca-Cola products, illy coffee and cold brew, Twinings teas, Kona and Stella beers, and spirits such as Bombay Sapphire, Tito's, and Aperol.
