One Brooklyn Health cuts more than 50 administrative, leadership jobs
"BOROUGHWIDE - ONE BROOKLYN HEALTH cut more than 50 positions across the safety-net system, including leadership and nonclinical administrative roles, in what it described as an operational realignment to improve efficiency and long-term financial stability, according to Becker's Hospital Review. The health system said the reductions follow an internal assessment of its structure, services and performance, and were not driven solely by broader financial pressures facing safety-net hospitals."
"In a statement shared with Becker's on Feb. 4, One Brooklyn Health said no core clinical services or essential community-based programs were eliminated and that patient care remains its top priority. One Brooklyn Health operates Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, Interfaith Medical Center, 14 ambulatory care sites and two nursing facilities."
