The Japanese football team has made ten changes to its lineup ahead of their match against Australia, following a previous draw with Saudi Arabia. New additions include Aziz Behich, coming off a championship win. The squad adjustments come as players like Jackson Irvine and Nectarios Triantis withdraw due to injuries and personal decisions. Despite these changes, Japan has performed well, booking their World Cup spots, allowing them the freedom to experiment with their lineup against Australia.

Tony Popovic said he's not too sure where it exactly sits. We had him in the squad for the camp, and on the day that he was supposed to travel he informed us that he's not coming in.
We have to respect that, and we'll see what happens.
They have dominated the group, booked their World Cup tickets and now have some freedom to experiment.
