Ria's Is Bringing Detroit Pizzas and Natural Wines to Central London
"We're big fans of Ria's in Notting Hill - it's doing some of the best Detroit-style pizza in London - so we're very excited that co-founders Ria and David Morgan-Ratcliffe are opening a second site in Soho this autumn. The two-floor 38-cover site, just off Carnaby Street, will boast an open kitchen, some outdoor seating and a downstairs wine cave centred around a marble sharing table."
"Detroit-style slices and natural wine will very much be on the menu at the new restaurant. The deep-pan square-cut pizzas, made from 72-hour fermented dough, will be available by the slice or by the pie, with all the fave combos from Notting Hill being joined by an exclusive Soho slice. Fingers crossed the smashed potatoes with garlic whipped feta and the deep-fried Mars bar are also making the move to W1."
"The wine list will feature a curated selection of natural wines, including chilled reds, pink pet-nats and juicy oranges, from small and independent producers, with bottled beer and cocktails rounding out the drinks offering. "We've taken everything we've learned, refined it, and built something that feels like a confident evolution of the brand. Expect the same signature style, energy, and experience - just a bit more polish. We've grown, learned, and fine-tuned, and this new site reflects that evolution.""
A second Ria's restaurant will open in Soho on 1 November 2025 at 29 Fouberts Place, W1F 7QF. The two-floor, 38-cover venue sits just off Carnaby Street and includes an open kitchen, some outdoor seating, and a downstairs wine cave centred on a marble sharing table. The menu will focus on Detroit-style deep-pan, square-cut pizza made from 72-hour fermented dough, available by the slice or pie, alongside favourites from Notting Hill and an exclusive Soho slice. A curated natural wine list, bottled beer and cocktails will complete the offering.
