Alex Cameron announces new album & tour, shares "Red Hook Rain"

"Alex Cameron has announced a new album, Late to Set, which will be self-released on July 24. The album features a number of different producers and collaborators including Mark Perkins, Zach Dawes and Maxim Ludwig (but no Roy Molloy, his frequent saxophone player and "business partner")."

"The album includes recent single "Statue Down" and Alex has just shared "Red Hook Rain" which finds his '80s-inspired athemic style going strong. Listen to both singles below."

"Alex will be on tour this fall, including opening for The Strokes across the UK and Europe, and North American headline dates including Brooklyn's Baby's All Right on September 11 and September 16 and Tubby's Kingston on September 17."

Late to Set is set for self-release on July 24 and includes production and collaboration from Mark Perkins, Zach Dawes, and Maxim Ludwig, without Roy Molloy. The album features the recent single “Statue Down” and the newly shared “Red Hook Rain,” which continues an ’80s-inspired athemic style. The tracklist includes “No Soldier,” “Stand-in Man,” “Testosterone in Blue,” “Jesus Never Had No Porno,” “Ricochet,” “No Guns Come Alone,” “Red Hook Rain,” and “Violent Man.” A fall tour is scheduled across the UK, Europe, and North America. Dates include opening for The Strokes in the UK and Europe, plus North American headline shows such as Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on September 11 and 16, and Tubby’s Kingston on September 17.
