He batted .282/.392/.622 and added a 2.87 ERA in 47 innings pitched for good measure. Ohtani recorded his third consecutive season with an on-base plus slugging percentage above 1.000, finishing with a 1.014 OPS this year. He is aiming for a fifth consecutive All-MLB selection."
