Among his targets was a young woman who was pushing a baby in a pram, who it is alleged the man attempted to stab in the hand as she walked in the Harold's Cross area. While this woman did not require hospital treatment, a male jogger suffered a facial injury after he was swiped in the face with a small blade when he was attacked by the suspect. Garda ed tonight could not confirm what type of weapon was used and it is understood that the implement has not yet been recovered."

Garda i arrested a man in his late 20s at the scene; the weapon has not been recovered and witnesses are being sought. The suspect is understood to have significant health issues.
