A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a number of people were sprayed with what is believed to be pepper spray at a Heathrow Airport car park, police said. A group of people who knew each other were involved in an argument which escalated and resulted in people being injured, police said, with other suspects being searched for. Twenty-one people were treated for injuries with five of those taken to hospital. The Metropolitan Police said it was an isolated incident and was not being treated as terrorism or protest-related. Earlier in the day trains were delayed and the car park was closed due to the incident but it reopened by 11:30 GMT. Police and emergency services were called at 08:11 to the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3.

Saugus police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying two men who allegedly assaulted a woman and her three children Monday night in the parking lot of Square One Mall. The woman and her children had exited the mall around 8:30 p.m. and returned to their vehicle to find two young men who had broken into the vehicle, police said. When the woman confronted the men, one allegedly pulled out a knife and the other punched her 11-year-old child in the stomach, according to police.

A Hawaii visitor has died from injuries due to an assault earlier this month in Waikiki. The attack took place just after midnight on Nov. 8 on a side street between the heavily touristed Kalakaua and Kuhio avenues, in front of a hostel. According to the Honolulu Police Department, a 43-year-old man, unprovoked, assaulted a 50-year-old male visitor. "The victim sustained severe head injuries and was treated and transported to the hospital by EMS," the police said.

According to law enforcement sources, the incident unfolded on Oct. 13 at around 2:15 a.m. on a southbound S train at the Euclid Avenue Subway station in East New York. The 36-year-old victim was on the train when he was approached by the precipitation-prepared perp, who was wearing a hood and carried an umbrella.
