
"Police attended the scene on Damascus Street amid fears the individuals had been exposed to "a possibly noxious substance" on Tuesday evening. In an update on Wednesday morning, the PSNI said no noxious substance was detected. However, a spokesperson added: "A quantity of suspected drugs have been removed from the property and enquiries remain ongoing." A number of officers were also taken to hospital as a precaution and several streets in the Holylands were sealed off while emergency services dealt with the situation."

Streets in the Holylands were sealed while emergency services responded. Ambulance and NI Fire and Rescue crews, including a hazardous materials unit and around 30 firefighters, attended. Four patients received treatment and were taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital. Emergency operations have ended and investigations continue.
