Katz Delicatessen, a historic NYC eatery, recently drew criticism for its $30 sandwich, deemed excessive and overpriced by users online. Originating in 1888 and famed for its appearance in 'When Harry Met Sally,' the deli's dishes are known for their generous portions. A social media post praising the sandwich prompted backlash, with many users commenting on the sandwich's size and cost. Critics expressed frustration over the value and suggested more reasonable alternatives in the city. This incident highlights growing consumer sentiment about food prices and portion sizes in popular dining spots.
Such a waste of food and money. How do you not get sick to your stomach halfway through. Average person can't finish that and shouldn't and for $27???
Katz deli, really overrated & a total tourist trap. Go to a neighborhood bodega, a third of the price & twice the quality imo.
