Gannon said he was unsure when exactly the injury occurred during Thursday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks and believed Benson played through the injury for part of the contest. Benson reported soreness to the Cardinals on Friday. Benson became the starter in Week 4 after James Conner suffered a season-ending foot injury the prior week. Benson totaled 35 rushing yards on eight carries and five catches for 19 yards versus Seattle. With Benson sidelined, Gannon expects Emari Demercado, Michael Carter and Bam Knight to play Sunday; those three have combined for five carries this season.
