An animal-style problem at SoCal In-N-Out's grand opening: A big snake
""Fortunately, no employee had to physically catch it or bring it in," Sarie Hooker, communications manager at Pasadena Humane, said Wednesday."
""well taken care of.""
""If you can safely take a photo, it helps with identifying the snake on our end and if it's possibly domestic or wild," Hooker said."
""But please call us.""
A roughly 3- to 4-foot python was discovered in the drive-thru at the new In-N-Out in Monrovia shortly after opening. An employee spotted the snake and contacted Pasadena Humane, which sent a specialist to remove it so staff did not have to handle the animal. The snake weighed about 3.6 pounds. Pasadena Humane has not determined the snake's sex but reported the animal was well taken care of and classed it as a stray that is not available for adoption. The public is advised to keep distance and call Pasadena Humane at (626) 792-7151, ext. 997, and, if safe, provide a photo to aid identification.
