BHCHP management proposed a 1.25% raise to union workers, which the union says is inadequate amid a worsening healthcare staffing crisis. The union organized a noon rally in front of BHCHP’s South End headquarters. The Barbara McInnis House will remain open with 103 medical respite beds. CEO Stan McLaren described the steps as necessary to address financial challenges and prepare for anticipated Medicaid cuts.
