Real Madrid confirm Huijsen signing; to play in CWC

Real Madrid has officially signed 20-year-old Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen for £50 million, making him their first acquisition before the next season. Huijsen had an impressive rookie year in the Premier League and is already a Spanish international. Real Madrid's move comes amidst a challenging season riddled with defensive injuries. With Huijsen under contract until 2030, the club is also in pursuit of additional full-backs and possibly a new manager before the Club World Cup starts on June 14.
Real Madrid C.F. and AFC Bournemouth have reached an agreement for the transfer of Dean Huijsen, who will remain at our club for the next five seasons.
At 20-years-old, Dean Huijsen is already a Spanish international and has played in Italy's Serie A with Juventus and Roma, and in the Premier League with Bournemouth.
Dean Huijsen has been nominated for the 2024-2025 Premier League Young Player of the Year award.
Madrid are also looking to secure the arrival of full-backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Álvaro Carreras before the Club World Cup, which starts on June 14.
