Golden Gate Park will undergo longer-than-usual closures this summer to accommodate a series of concerts. The schedule includes Dead & Company from August 1 to 3, Outside Lands from August 8 to 10, and Zach Bryan with Kings of Leon on August 15. Major road closures will affect vehicle and pedestrian access, particularly on Middle Drive and JFK Drive, lasting through much of August. Visitors and park residents should prepare for significant disruptions, especially on concert days when western park roads will be completely closed.
Road closures in Golden Gate Park are set to last longer this summer than in previous years, affecting various areas including JFK Promenade and multiple meadows.
The events, presented by Another Planet Entertainment, include a three-night run with Dead & Company, Outside Lands festival, and performances by Zach Bryan and Kings of Leon.
Middle Drive closed on July 23 and will remain closed until August 20, while JFK Drive will close starting July 29 for vehicle traffic until August 18.
On concert days, significant road closures will occur on the western side of the park, impacting accessibility for pickups and drop-offs.
