Life Time, known as an athletic country club, has signed a 15-year lease for a 60,000 square foot property at Santana Row in San Jose. This will be their second location in the Bay Area, targeting a premium fitness experience with amenities such as studios for various classes, personal training, and health-oriented features like cafes and relaxation areas. The choice of Santana Row underscores the company’s focus on iconic and bustling locations, as they aim to recreate a unique fitness environment that diverges from traditional gyms in the region.

"It's hard to do better than Santana Row in terms of iconic properties," said Meghan Akradi, emphasizing the strategic choice of location for the new Life Time fitness country club.
"We will have great fitness areas, fitness studios, personal training sites, yoga, pilates, a cafe, work lounges, a sauna, and hot tubs," Akradi stated, describing the upcoming facility.
"Members are calling us a country club without the golf," stated Natalie Bushaw, highlighting Life Time's unique approach to fitness compared to traditional health clubs.
