Dwayne Richardson, 41, allegedly brandished a firearm at his Malden workplace on Dec. 10 and threatened to kill staff. Winthrop police received a be-on-the-lookout for his white 2018 BMW, stopped the vehicle on Revere Street the next day, and arrested him. A vehicle search recovered $5,090 in cash, a 634.2-gram brick of cocaine, 29.7 grams of fentanyl, oxycodone, Adderall, and a Springfield Armory XD5 pistol. A search of his person produced additional bags of crack cocaine, fentanyl, and cocaine. He faces multiple trafficking, distribution, and firearm charges, was held without bail, and awaits a dangerousness hearing.
