GloRilla, real name Gloria Woods, voluntarily turned herself in on felony drug charges after police discovered marijuana during a burglary investigation at her Atlanta home. Deputies responded to a 1:30 a.m. report of a burglary while Woods was performing at the WNBA All-Star Game. Burglars entered her home, prompting an occupant to fire a weapon. A drug task force later found marijuana in plain view in the master bedroom closet. Woods was charged with possession of marijuana and controlled substances and released on bond the same day.
"Instead of focusing on finding the suspects, they focus on some cannabis. Long story short, my house gets home invaded and I'm the only one that gets arrested."
A drug task force secured a search warrant for the home after deputies noticed a 'strong odor consistent with illegal narcotics' while investigating the burglary.
