Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is scheduled to appear on January 6, the day before Greene's return, and Crockett and Greene have openly clashed in Congress. The View achieved recent ratings gains, posting its largest audience in eight months and its best telecast with women ages 25–54 in over a year, averaging 2.6 million viewers the week of December 1 and ranking number one among daytime talk shows. Greene announced last month that she is resigning from Congress, admitting she did not want to be put through a hurtful and hateful primary against her by President Donald Trump.
