
A design critique workshop aims to improve a design by analyzing it and giving feedback on whether it meets objectives. Many teams focus on planning and facilitation, then end the session with feedback filed away and never revisited. This causes critique culture to break down because contributors do not learn what happened to their input. Two followup tactics close the loop: an immediate post-session recap that states what will happen next, and a deeper followup after the design evolves that links visible changes to the earlier conversation. The recap can be brief, such as a Slack or Teams message, but should be specific. Skipping followups risks people stopping contributions and arriving unprepared.
