The Galgo House originated from a request for a functional kennel but evolved into a weekend retreat for a couple and their dogs. Located within a residential complex, it emphasizes minimal living essentials, promoting comfort and connection to the surrounding landscape. Constructed with concrete, steel, and wood, it features large openings that merge indoor and outdoor spaces. The design includes interconnected social areas and functional spaces for dogs, all aimed at fostering quality time, coexistence, and a peaceful living experience in tandem with nature.
The Galgo House exemplifies how architecture can transcend functionality, creating a cohesive environment that harmonizes with nature while prioritizing comfort and enjoyment.
The design focuses on minimalism and fluidity, allowing the integration of spacious social areas that foster coexistence and quality time among its inhabitants.
