CoD: Black Ops 7 Beta Patch Notes Detail Zombies Training Course And Known Bugs
"For the first time ever, Call of Duty's Zombies mode is included in the beta. Players will have access to the Vandorn Farm Survival map. This isn't the full round-based map experience in Black Ops 7 Zombies, but instead it is a small Survival map, where players will have access to all the perks and equipment they need to try and survive for high rounds."
"Treyarch says there will be a training course for new players, so everyone can learn the ropes of the Zombies mode before jumping. There is also no round cap, as the developer wants to stress-test the servers and see what high-round levels players can reach. The Save and Quit feature will be available to solo players, so they can work to achieve high-round matches as well."
"Treyarch says the rate at which Overclocks are unlocked in multiplayer will be inconsistent and varied in the beta compared to the experience at launch, but the player data collected during the beta will help the team tune the progression rates for launch. There's also a chance some players may retain the Gravemaker scorestreak after the timer expires and until their next death. This is a known issue that the developer intends on correcting during a live update in the beta."
Early access for the Black Ops 7 beta begins with patch notes outlining changes and additions. Zombies mode appears in the beta via the Vandorn Farm Survival map, offering perks and equipment but not the full round-based experience. Zombies content is available Oct 3–7 across two early-access and two open-beta days. A training course is provided for new players. There is no round cap to stress-test servers and a Save and Quit feature for solo high-round attempts. Patch notes list known bugs, inconsistent Overclock unlock rates, and a Gravemaker scorestreak issue targeted for live fixes during the beta.
