United Airlines has introduced seasonal service from Washington D.C. to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, operating four times a week. This expansion increases capacity by 30% for travelers heading to the French Riviera. Utilizing a Boeing 767-300, the service runs until September 24, with one-way fares starting at $439. Alongside luxurious accommodations like Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel and renovated Hôtel du Couvent, the new route also improves access to Monaco. The move reflects United's efforts to broaden its international reach, following new flights to destinations including Asia.
"We are excited to launch this further expansion of our route network from France to the U.S. and United's first-ever service from Nice to Washington D.C.," Grégoire Dutoit, a sales manager at United, said in a statement to T+L.
Nice has previously been described as 'must-visit' and the 'coolest place to be' in the French Riviera region, according to Travel + Leisure.
