Careful considerations during renovation included minimal alterations to maintain the ceiling design and overall aesthetic, installing modern amenities like air conditioning and lighting discreetly. The use of indirect lighting and floor-mounted systems preserves the character and integrity of the original structure while enhancing guest comfort.
This hotel preserves the essence of its Sukiya architecture while integrating modern amenities, ensuring an authentic experience reflective of Kyoto's teahouse past.
