This Bedroom Redo's Brilliant BESTA Hack Solves the "Clothes Chair" Problem
Briefly

Leekim redesigned her bedroom by first painting the walls white and installing carpet for warmth. In 2025, she sought to add character, using a coraly pink paint to enliven the space. To improve storage, she created a functional piece of furniture from IKEA BESTAs to hide clutter and enhance the aesthetic. Additionally, she upgraded the windows by removing black paint and applying wood stain while switching out blinds for lighter fabric, allowing natural light to soften the room's appearance.
Leekim transformed her bedroom from a "boring, cold and harsh" space into a cozy, personalized area by painting the walls white, installing carpeting, and adding functional storage.
To combat clutter and find more functional storage, Leekim hacked IKEA BESTAs into a window seat and shelving unit, hiding unsightly items while creating an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.
She replaced the original black gloss paint on the window frames with a wood stain and wax seal, enhancing the natural light and overall warmth of the room.
Finally, Leekim injected personality into the room with a coraly pink paint color, Graham & Brown's Moira, covering every surface for a vibrant transformation.
