De Bruyne's perfectly placed through ball set up Højlund's opener for Napoli in Wednesday's Champions League clash. After Colombian forward Luis Suárez equalised from the penalty spot, De Bruyne then also provided the cross for Højlund's header that restored Napoli's advantage in the second half. "Kevin is a legend of the sport," Højlund said. "For me, it's just every time he has the ball, go find some space. I'm so grateful to play with a player like this."
Rasmus Højlund struck twice to give Napoli a 2-1 victory over Sporting in their Champions League clash at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Højlund, on loan from Manchester United, pounced in each half with Kevin De Bruyne the provider on both occasions as the former Premier League foes combined beautifully to dispatch spirited opponents. A Luis Suárez penalty catapulted Sporting back into contention and they also had chances to snatch a point in an action-packed climax to the game.
Lazar Samardzic and Mario Pasalic were on target as Atalanta produced a late comeback to beat Club Brugge 2-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday. Christos Tzolis' well-executed opener had the visitors ahead by the break at New Balance Arena but Brugge were denied making it two wins from two in the league phase as the hosts fought back to rebound from a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain.
