The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has admitted there have been more than 12 times as many data breaches linked to its Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (Arap) programme than previously thought. Until now, a total of four breaches were known to have hit Arap, a scheme established back in April 2021 to bring Afghan citizens at risk of Taliban persecution to safety in the UK. However, according to Freedom of Information (FoI) figures released to the BBC, the true number is actually 49.

Iran poses a significant threat through intimidation, including physical attacks and assassination of dissidents in the UK, comparable to Russia's threat level.

"As of now, the functioning of the Parliament remains unaffected, and we are continuing with scheduled committee meetings and plenary sessions," stated Parliament President Bertin Mampaka.

Tata Consultancy Services is conducting an internal investigation to determine if it was the entry point for the cyber attack on Marks & Spencer.

The cyber incident at Marks & Spencer prompted an investigation from Scotland Yard's cyber crime unit, as the retailer struggles with limited availability and operational disruptions.
