A false report mistakenly linked Miguel Rojas to a PED suspension, causing frustration over reputational damage to him and the Dodgers.
Oct. 22 DUI, Suspended license: At 11:53 p.m., deputies stopped a motorist at Saratoga Avenue and Kosich Drive for a traffic violation. An investigation revealed the motorist was driving under the influence of alcohol, with a suspended license. The suspect was arrested and booked into main jail. Oct. 23 Petty theft and theft by credit card: Someone entered an unlocked vehicle at the Saratoga Country Club and stole $300 in cash and credit cards.
This young man is obviously suffering some mental illness, said San Mateo County District Attorney Stephen Wagstaffe. It was a felony act when he tried to stab the officer, Wagstaffe added. If the appropriate resolution is mental health treatment of some sort, the fact is a felony will have a better chance of getting the best treatment possible in terms of resources devoted to it.
