Despite the slowdown in overall homebuilding in Greenwich, affordable housing is rising, with three-quarters of new developments designated as affordable, marking an eight-year high.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is actively considering various planning applications focused on home improvements, encompassing tree removals, extensions, and loft conversions.
Councillor Averil Lekau highlighted, 'These changes demonstrate how we are listening to residents and acting on the feedback they provide us to help make these important improvements.'
"The luxurious waterfront property was sold for $31.5 million after fluctuating in price over the years, initially listed at $54 million. The sale comes amid a struggling luxury housing market in Greenwich, where inventory is low and high-end properties are scarce."
