Building seasonal LEGO sets is a beloved holiday tradition for my family - right alongside baking cookies and decorating the apartment. It's a fun family activity, and the finished models make for a beautifully festive display. This year, I'm snagging the delightful LEGO Poinsettia Plant Set from QVC for my brother, priced on sale for $49.98 (down from $55.99). I actually enjoyed putting this together with my own sons last year (it wasn't a complicated build!).

This is the second time Woot has had a deal on Lego's Great Deku Tree, and the previous deal sold out in hours.

This LEGO Christmas tree has become Amazon's best-selling toy over the past week, and it received back-to-back price cuts in seven days. The set just dropped to $26 from its usual $44 price and marks a 40% discount and a new record low for this holiday season icon. Amazon sold over 60,000 units already which shows how people are jumping on this early Black Friday deal before inventory disappears.

Both retailers have discounted the 598-piece Lego Up House to only $30.39 (was $60). The nearly 50% price cut is one of the best deals yet for the highly rated Pixar building set. The Up House is recommended for kids ages 9 and up, but just like the wonderful 2009 animated movie, parents might appreciate this "playset" even more than their kids.

It's nearly 60 years since we first got to actually see our blue marble from afar. Not in some geography book as a painting, not in the form of a VFX shot in a Hollywood movie. The LEGO Stackable Storage Brick is a box with a lid meant for storage, but it's shaped like a giant LEGO brick. It's simple, fun, and functional! But if you're looking for a gift for a Toy Story fan this holiday season, Lego designed an absolutely adorable building set this year. Released in June with a $40 retail price, the Toy Story Celebration Train & RC Car Lego set is on sale for $32 (was $40) at Amazon, Walmart, and Target.

The only thing worse than 'Floor is Lava' is probably 'Floor is LEGO Brick'. LEGO bricks are famously torturous to step on. The studs, the sharp corners, the unforgiving plastic, all of these combine into creating something that feels like modern day torture. Step on a lego brick with enough body-weight and that thing practically digs into your tissue, causing probably one of the most painful experiences according to the internet. For the second year in a row, it's looking like an official Lego tabletop game is going to be one of the most popular board/card games during the holiday season. Nostalgic Batman fans and Lego collectors can save on The Classic TV Series Batmobile at Amazon and Target for a limited time. The discount drops the price of the 1,822-piece Batmobile building model for adults to $135 (was $150). The 10% price cut isn't as massive as some Lego deals, but The Classic TV Series Batmobile has largely maintained its MSRP since its release last October.
