I Had Been Here Before explores the impact of memory and the passage of time on the transformation and deconstruction of spaces and moments. Dreamlike places are recognised through echoes and sensations. Through an exploration of family archives, memories emerge like a wedding cake or sea foam, out of softly gathered fabric or a dark mist on a tailored garment.

In his Sailing Castle series, artist Cheng Tsung FENG envisions the urban landscape as an archipelago of ships at sea, where clusters of buildings resemble vessels gathered in harbor.
