De'Von Achane will remain with the Miami Dolphins despite their extensive roster overhaul, as the team rejected trade inquiries for the star running back.
Interior defensive tackles rarely command huge trade packages unless they completely dominate games. We're talking elite tier defensive tackles. Players like Chris Jones, Dexter Lawrence, and Quinnen Williams get those types of packages. Those players force double teams every snap and completely change offensive game plans. Osa Odighizuwa is a strong player and an effective interior rusher, but he doesn't stop the run at all.
The Cowboys have been in the market for a superstar pass rusher since they traded Micah Parsons to the Packers last August. The Packers sent two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark to the Cowboys for the 26-year-old Parsons.
Edmunds is under contract for the 2026 season, entering the final year of the four-year, $72 million deal he signed in 2023. But with no guaranteed money remaining on the contract and the Bears needing financial flexibility, this move doesn't come as a surprise. From a production standpoint, Edmunds delivered another statistically strong season in 2025. He recorded his eighth straight 100-plus tackle campaign and his third consecutive triple-digit season in Chicago.
