Trump was speaking with reporters Thursday evening near the National Mall. When asked about U.S. strikes against Iranian military facilities and the status of the ceasefire, Trump said that the U.S. "blew them away" and threatened "one big glow" if Iran doesn't come to an agreement with the U.S. "They trifled with us today. We blew them away. They trifle. They call that a trifle," Trump rambled. "I'll let you know when there's no ceasefire. You won't have to know. If there's no ceasefire, you're not going to have to know. You'll have to look at one big glow coming out of Iran. And they'd better sign their agreement fast."

President Trump said, "We always want to be ready, and so I have sent two nuclear submarines to the region. I just want to make sure that his words are only words and nothing more than that."

Solovyov questioned how much belief Trump would have in the threat from Russia, emphasizing the potential devastation of Russian missiles causing a radioactive tsunami.
