For nearly two decades, the outdoor open mic event at 16th & Mission has served as a platform for diverse artistic expressions, encouraging participation from the entire community.

The installation tells the story of a gorilla mother, an alien father, and their strange love child cruising through America, trapped in an eternal time loop.
