A draw was the right result considering how the game was going. We didn't have enough energy in the first half and struggled with their intensity, but then we found the right key to create problems for them. That was after being forced into making two substitutions, which meant in the second half we couldn't make more changes and were running short on energy.

Fernandes capitalised on an error from Andre on 25 minutes, as the Brazilian midfielder was robbed in his own half by Casemiro, who found Matheus Cunha. The returning Molineux hero unseflishly sought out his captain, who, under great pressure from Cristian Mosquera, squeezed home past Sam Johnstone. Cunha was denied a goal against his old employers by Emmanuel Agbadou's last-ditch clearance off the line.

In the case of the penalty during the Women's Euro 2025 quarter-final, when Ada Hegerberg was fouled, she had not committed an offside offence at that point.
