Alrighty, we all love to go online and make jokes. The recurring meme around the PS5 is that the system "has no games." It's become a tired bit at this point. When you step back from the jokes and actually look at what the console has to offer several years into its lifespan, the idea that the PS5 is starving for content just doesn't hold up. While it would have been nice to have a more exclusives, the current library is anything but empty.

Sony extended Cyber Monday deals by a few extra days with discounts still active on the PS5 Pro, DualSense controllers, and PS VR headsets. If you want the ultimate PlayStation experience with Sony's most powerful console, this is it, currently sitting at $648 instead of the usual $749 in a record low deal. This pricing matters because the performance gap between the Pro and the standard PS5 Slim becomes impossible to ignore once you see games running at their maximum potential.

The Fidelity mode emphasizes resolution, while Performance targets frame rate. Fidelity mode on Xbox Series X reaches a maximum resolution of 1440p and targets 60fps, while PS5's Fidelity mode cranks up to 1440p and 60fps. Performance mode on Xbox Series X reaches a maximum resolution of 1280p but targets 80fps, and the same values hold for PS5's Performance mode. The PS5 Pro, meanwhile, ratchets things up to 2160p/60fps for Fidelity mode and 1620p/80fps for Performance mode.

The PS5 Pro is now available for $650, marking its first discount since release, but only via PlayStation Direct as of May 28.
