After ripping off security tags, he stuffs one down his trousers and another in his coat pocket. Retail Theft, Child Abuse: Two suspects worked together on South Bascom Avenue to steal merchandise and fled in a red GMC truck. They had children in the vehicle who were not in car seats. Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Driving Under the Influence: Someone was located driving a stolen vehicle at Hamilton and Leigh avenues. The suspect displayed signs and symptoms of alcohol and drug intoxication, and was in possession of suspected crystal methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.

An armed Santa Claus joined American Canyon police as they arrested two Vallejo residents last week accused of stealing 24 Christmas trees and two crates of wreaths from a local Safeway. Joshua Gonzales, 39, and Kayla Daniels, 29, were taken into custody at their home Thursday, according to a Dec. 5 Facebook post from police that included video of the unusual holiday-themed arrest.
