Her not-quite-a-movie Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl is on track to make $30 to $35 million at the domestic box office this weekend, and another $8 to $10 million worldwide, per Deadline. That would put its high-end estimate around $45 million, and we'd never bet against Swift, so don't be surprised if it hits that target.
Essentially, the answer is unknown, as Swift has not commented on her touring plans for the near future, and none of her signature Easter eggs have pointed towards a tour (at least so far). However, some reports have indicated that the singer is indeed plotting some sort of show, although what that may look like remains unclear. When Will Taylor Go On Tour?
Swift made The Life of a Showgirl with Swedish super-producers Max Martin and Shellback while touring Europe last year. She described the project as a tribute to her joyful, wild, dramatic life as an entertainer, and a look behind the scenes of the Eras spectacle. Album imagery by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shows Swift bejewelled with diamantes, fishnet tights, fur and feathered headdresses.
"The photoshoot we did with Mert and Marcus was so extraordinary, and I was so happy with it, that I just wanted fans to have as many images from this world, this album era, as possible," she says in the video on Instagram above "I really spent a lot of time figuring out how I could make the best vinyl product, the best packaging, the best CD experience that they could have ... I hope the fans are happy."
'Taylor lowered the pitch of her voice when she moved to New York City. This was the time in her career when she became more well-known for speaking up on issues of social change and feminism, as well as musician's rights,' said Matthew Winn, co-author of the study. 'Sometimes people with a lower pitch are perceived as a voice of authority, and it is possible that she was making use of that tendency to ensure her message was received.'
In US theaters from October 3rd through 5th, the 89-minute film will feature the world premiere of the music video for her new single, "The Fate of Ophelia," as well as "never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos" from the upcoming project.
Since announcing her new album on August 12, she's rolled out three limited-edition vinyl variants and three CD variants available for pre-order, each with its own unique cover art, stoking Swiftie excitement for collecting them all. Swift continued with her carefully calibrated rollout this week, revealing yet another alternate album cover - but this time, the announcement came with an unexpected techie twist.
"I would like to put out that I have made a very conscious effort to not discuss Taylor and Travis on this podcast because news outlets, tabloids and AI, quite frankly, like to post only the quotes that they grab from whatever I say in reference to them," Kelce said. (Coming out with our hands up, Kylie. We are doing exactly that.)
It's nice to know some things never change. Taylor Swift's liquor of choice in the past has always been vodka and at Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes' new steakhouse, 1587, where she was in attendance at a friends and family opening this past weekend, Swift has her very own signature drink, a vodka cranberry cocktail called The Alchemy. Yes, there are other ingredients, according to TMZ, including Pierre Ferrand dry curaçao, aronia berry, strawberry, lime, and oolong.
The superstar musician is the most-streamed artist in the world. She is the first to win album of the year at the Grammy Awards four times. Her Eras Tour generated more than $2 billion in ticket sales. And she has a net worth of $1.6 billion. She also has something valuable in common with Amazon, the Jeff Bezos-founded ecommerce giant that boasts a $2.5 trillion market capitalization.

Taylor Swift is the most awarded artist in the history of the MTV Video Music Awards. At the 2024 ceremony, she won seven Moon Person trophies, surpassing Beyoncé to break the record for the most VMAs by an artist, with 30 career wins. In addition, she extended her record for most Video of the Year wins, taking home her fifth prize for "Fortnight," and winning the category for the third year in a row.
It's just sunflowers, you see. Sunflowers almost literally as far as the eye can see. All facing the same way, because they are get this flowers that follow the sun. We followed the little dusty tracks that led through the fields, which wind about so that eventually you are facing the flowers and they are facing you, and the effect is so joyful and uplifting that even your family hostages begin to break into smiles.
Taylor Swift is off the market. She's engaged to marry the NFL player Travis Kelce in what will be the US's first proper royal wedding, and yes of course I know you're far too high-minded to care about any of that, but what's striking is how many people seem convinced that this is the end of any kind of interesting life for her.
