A Hawaii visitor has died from injuries due to an assault earlier this month in Waikiki. The attack took place just after midnight on Nov. 8 on a side street between the heavily touristed Kalakaua and Kuhio avenues, in front of a hostel. According to the Honolulu Police Department, a 43-year-old man, unprovoked, assaulted a 50-year-old male visitor. "The victim sustained severe head injuries and was treated and transported to the hospital by EMS," the police said.
A crocodile discovered lying in a luxury Queensland resort's pool has been removed by wildlife rangers, with the state's environment regulator issuing new warnings about the reptiles. Two TikTok users posted footage of what appears to be a juvenile crocodile in the lagoon-style pool at the Sheraton Mirage in Port Douglas, in far north Queensland, on Saturday afternoon.
