Uli Hoeneß criticizes Eintracht Frankfurt's strategy of selling players, emphasizing the long-term risks associated with such decisions.
Tom Bischof suffered an ill-timed appendectomy, which has him out of club and country during a period where he might have had a chance to establish himself as a potential starter. Now, though, Bischof is back in action and took the pitch for parts of team training on Monday at Säbener Straße. Clearly, Bischof will be looking to get healthy as soon as possible, so he can re-throw his hat into the midfield ring:
"We all know things didn't go so well (against Slovakia). But I'd rather lose the first one than lose the important ones later. Of course, he (Nagelsmann) is still the right one. We shouldn't throw everything after one game. I'm convinced we'll play better tonight. We should talk more about football in Germany, and not only transfers, transfers, transfers. If we do that then we'll play better," Hoeneß said during an appearance on SPORT1-Doppelpass (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
In the middle of the maelstrom, many people have been left unimpressed. Chief among them is Bayern honorary president HoeneÃ, who ripped into the inconsistent reporting about Florian Wirtz's potential transfer.
