In terms of backstory and mythology, Warframe is a little convoluted. The short version is that players control Tenno, warriors who were asleep in suspended animation for centuries before being awakened in the middle of an intergalactic war. There have been 13 years of story expansions, and it's a little too much to take in all at once. And yet Herzog's delivery goes a long way towards making it sound very compelling.

In Soulframe, we were attempting to try to tie it to a broader category of weapons to sort of make that pace work with the length of the game that we're making.

Oraxia, the new spider-themed Warframe, is a major addition to the Isleweaver update, set for release in June, allowing players greater combat versatility.
