Levi Colwill, the Chelsea centreback, has taken to building Lego models, notably the Home Alone house, to distract himself from football pressures during rare downtime. After a challenging last season characterized by a struggle for form and adapting to new positions, Colwill discovered Lego as a therapeutic hobby. He finds that it allows him to escape from worries and relax, making him feel like a kid again. Despite pressures and high expectations post-loan at Brighton, Lego has become a creative outlet for him during tough times.
It just takes your mind away from everything, Colwill says. Last season when I was struggling a bit I started doing it. I built the Home Alone one with the movie on in the background and time just flies.
It's a big house. It took me weeks. The detail they go into is crazy. You don't see it when you just look at it but things like open up, there's a basement, there's a lot to it.
