A woman was the victim of an attempted robbery while traveling on a Greater Anglia train. At approximately 10.50pm on April 19, a man attempted to snatch her phone. After she resisted, he violently dragged her onto the platform at Waltham Cross station, where he punched her to the ground. Authorities have released a CCTV image of the suspect, requesting public assistance in identifying him. Those with information are urged to contact British Transport Police or Crimestoppers.
Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a woman was dragged from a train and punched during a terrifying attempted robbery.
The victim was travelling on a Greater Anglia train from Stratford station at around 10.50pm on Saturday, April 19, when a man tried to snatch her phone.
Officers investigating the incident believe the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help with their enquiries.
