Police search for dog after small dog killed, owner injured | CBC News
"Toronto police are warning the public of an abandoned off-leash dog that could be dangerous or aggressive. Officers responded to calls of an assault near Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue W. around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, said Toronto police in a news release. They said an off-leash dog attacked an owner and their small dog unprovoked and is now unaccounted for."
"The small dog was killed in the attack and the owner had non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Police described the off-leash dog as a "brown pit bull mix." They're working with Toronto Animal Services to locate the dog. Anyone who thinks they've found the dog is being warned to not approach it and to call police immediately."
