Durham Regional Police Service is investigating an incident where a man allegedly attempted to stab someone in Oshawa. The event occurred late Sunday evening as the suspect approached two pedestrians on Danzatore Path, brandishing a knife. Fortunately, no one was injured during the altercation, and the suspect fled the scene. Police have made an image of the suspect available to the public and are requesting assistance from witnesses or anyone with video related to the incident.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a call about an assault near Steeplechase Street and Windfields Farm Drive E., according to a police release Monday.
Police say the suspect was seen walking west on Danzatore Path when he approached two people... pulled out a knife and tried to stab one of them.
